Seamstress: I've been sewing since I was a small girl. I used to sit on the floor next to my mom and her machine and used needle and thread to sew clothing for my dolls. By the time I was 12 I was able to make my own skirts and dresses. In my 20's and 30's I was sewing for myself and for my girls. I enjoyed combining patterns to create fashions I had seen in a store window to fit me perfectly. The more complicated the pattern for a dress for my girls was, the more fun I had finishing it and seeing it on my girls. That same joy fills me when I create for my dolls though I enjoy  both simple and complicated designs. I also usually draft my own patterns, though I have no problem using and crediting another designer when warranted. I take pride in my work and the finishing of my seams.

Wig maker: I began creating wigs for my BJD fashion dolls when I was not happy with the fit of some of the wigs I had purchased for them. I created my own custom and perfectly fit pattern for my resin BJD and know that I make one of the best fitting "skin wigs" available for that particular BJD. Never satisfied and forever wanting to learn something new, I also learned to make both "hardcap" and "flex-cap" wigs for the resin BJD fashion dolls.

Jewelry: I've been beading and makeing jewelry for people for over 18 years. I use tiny seed beads for weaving beaded fabric, as well as crystals and genuine gemstone beads. I've scaled down to 1/4 size what I used to do for people so that I can now make jewelry for the 16" fashion dolls. My jewelry can be contemporary but is often unusual as I most enjoy creating new and original pieces.

Photography and Digital Art: Since I began collecting my articulated dolls, one of the things I most enjoy about my dolls is photographing them. Once photographed, I've learned to take it even farther by playing with some of my photos and turning them into "digital art" by manipulating either a small part or drastically transforming the original photo into something beyond what would come out of a usual camera lens.
